Justin has spent his professional career working his way up through the ranks, starting as an apprentice right through to Service Manager at the Suzuki and Jeep Dealership in Carlisle.Whilst at Suzuki, Justin boasted an array of accolades, including the prestigious Technician of the Year 2000. He has also qualified as a Suzuki Master Technician and Jeep Master Diagnostic Technician. Over the years Justin has gained a wealth of 4x4 experiences through a variety of recognised brands such as Chrysler, Jeep and Kia and has also, since 1991 carried out ministry of transport tests. In 2008 Justin established City Garage, and in a short period of time has built up a strong reputation through customer recommendation and word of mouth.
Tom Allan
Born in Carlisle, Tom has comprehensive experience within the local Motor Trade encompassing both sales and service.Starting in 1990 Tom began his career in the Parts Department before becoming After Sales Manager for a variety of brands at Malcolm Wilsons Garage in Cardewlees.1996 saw a change in ownership at Cardewlees with Adrian Smith Saab becoming tenants. The next few years saw Tom’s career develop from After Sales Manager to Group After Sales Manager (incorporating the companies Aberdeen branch) and in 2002 he became Dealership Manager in Carlisle. In 2005, under Tom’s guidance and with a new team, Adrian Smith Saab became No1 for Customer Satisfaction in the UK for both Sales and After Sales.Tom left the Saab brand in 2007 to become Sales Manager for the Suzuki and Jeep franchises in Carlisle. It was here that both Tom and Justin met and in early 2008 City Garage was created.Tom’s attitude is to “never over promise and never under deliver” which provides the foundation for the company motto “built on reputation not location.”
